Our Services

Level Up Academics provides educational support that may include tutor matching, individual tutoring, ongoing school-year tutoring, academic consultations, gifted and talented support, ESE / special-needs academic support, dual enrollment support, subject-specific tutoring, academic coaching, and related educational services.

The exact scope of services for a student may vary based on the student’s needs and the arrangement agreed upon with the family.

Tutor Matching

We make reasonable efforts to match students with tutors based on factors such as academic needs, personality, learning style, availability, experience, and family preferences. A successful tutoring relationship also depends on factors outside our control, including student participation, tutor availability, scheduling, school requirements, and individual circumstances.

If a tutor match is not working well, families are encouraged to contact Level Up Academics so we can evaluate alternatives when reasonably available.

Parent and Student Responsibilities

Parents, guardians, and students are expected to provide accurate information that is reasonably necessary for tutoring. Students are expected to participate respectfully and make a reasonable effort during tutoring sessions. Parents or guardians are responsible for informing us of relevant academic needs, accommodations, scheduling issues, or changes that may affect services.

Academic Results

Level Up Academics works to support learning, confidence, skills, and academic progress. Educational outcomes vary by student, and we cannot guarantee specific grades, test scores, admission to a school or program, advancement or promotion, scholarships, college admission, or any particular academic result.

Tutoring is intended to supplement a student’s educational experience and does not replace the responsibilities of the student, parent, school, teacher, medical provider, or licensed educational professional where applicable.

Educational and Medical Matters

Level Up Academics may work with students who have learning differences, disabilities, accommodations, or other individual needs. Our services are educational services. Unless expressly stated otherwise, we do not provide medical diagnosis, psychological diagnosis, therapy, legal advice, or clinical treatment.

Scheduling, Cancellations, and Rescheduling

Appointments and consultations may be scheduled using our website, Calendly, email, telephone, or another approved scheduling method. Families are responsible for providing accurate contact and scheduling information.

Any cancellation, rescheduling, missed-session, refund, or make-up-session terms applicable to a particular tutoring arrangement will be disclosed as part of the service agreement, enrollment process, invoice, or booking terms. Those specific terms become part of the agreement between the family and Level Up Academics.

Fees and Payment

Tutoring rates, packages, contract terms, and payment schedules may vary by service. Applicable fees will be communicated before the family agrees to paid services. Families are responsible for charges they authorize under the agreed service arrangement. Third-party payment processors may have their own terms and privacy policies.

Privacy and Confidentiality

Level Up Academics considers student and family information private. Academic records, grades, school standing, personal discussions, learning needs, and similar information are used only as reasonably necessary to provide tutoring and related educational support. We do not sell student or family personal information.

Tutors and Independent Professionals

Depending on the engagement, tutoring services may be provided by tutors working with or through Level Up Academics. Tutors are selected and matched based on the information reasonably available to us. Families should communicate concerns about a tutor or tutoring relationship directly to Level Up Academics so we can address the matter.

Appropriate Conduct

Students, parents, tutors, and other participants are expected to treat one another respectfully. Level Up Academics may suspend or terminate services in cases involving harassment, threats, abusive conduct, discrimination, repeated inappropriate behavior, unsafe circumstances, fraud, material nonpayment, or misuse of our website or services.

Website Content and Intellectual Property

Text, branding, graphics, logos, page designs, educational materials, and other original content on the Level Up Academics website may be protected by intellectual-property laws. Website materials may be viewed and used for ordinary personal purposes related to evaluating or receiving our services, but may not be copied, sold, republished, or commercially exploited without permission.

Third-Party Services

Our website may integrate or link to third-party services such as Calendly, payment processors, videoconferencing providers, email services, educational platforms, and social media services. Level Up Academics does not control the independent policies or operation of those providers. Use of those services may also be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

Website Availability

We try to maintain a reliable website and scheduling experience, but we cannot guarantee that the website or third-party services will always operate without interruption or error. We may modify, suspend, or update portions of the website when reasonably necessary.

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Level Up Academics is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from use of the website or tutoring services. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable law.

Changes to Services or Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions as our services evolve. The current version will be posted on the Level Up Academics website with its effective date. Changes apply prospectively unless applicable law requires otherwise.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Level Up Academics in the jurisdiction where the business is organized and operates, without limiting consumer rights that may apply under other applicable laws.
