Every student learns differently. Every family has different goals. And the right academic support should reflect that.
Level Up Academics was created to help families move beyond one-size-fits-all tutoring. We take the time to understand the student, the family, the academic situation, and the goals before recommending a tutor or support plan.
Our focus is not simply finding someone who knows the subject. We work to find the right person for the student.
That means considering personality, communication style, academic strengths, areas of difficulty, confidence, scheduling needs, and the kind of relationship that will help a student make meaningful progress.

We Listen First
Before making a match, we speak with both the parent and the student. We want to understand what is happening in school, where the student feels confident, where they may be struggling, and what the family hopes to accomplish.
We Match Thoughtfully
We look for a tutor who is not only academically capable, but also patient, encouraging, dependable, and well suited to the student.
We Stay Involved
For many families, support continues throughout the school year. For others, help may focus on one class, subject, transition, or academic challenge. Either way, the goal is the same: support that fits the student.

Helping Families Find Support That Truly Fits
As a mom and a registered nurse, I understand how important it is to find support that truly fits a child’s individual needs.
Families are often told what a student should be doing, but finding the right person to actually help that student can be much harder.
That is why I take a hands-on approach to tutor matching. I want to understand the child, listen to the family, and help find a tutor who is patient, capable, and genuinely prepared to meet that student where they are.
Academic support should help students feel more confident, more capable, and better prepared for what comes next.

We work with students across a range of academic needs, including students who need additional help, students working above grade level, gifted and talented learners, students receiving ESE or special-needs support, and students navigating dual enrollment or more advanced coursework.
The label matters less to us than the student. We start with the individual.
